Almost

  1. Sigh. My 30 is coming in some months! I look at time with dread. How did it happen? How did we go from 20 to 25 to 30 so quickly?
Every passing day, more than ever before, I wish for a time machine. I want to relive those happy moments from youth, those sunlight filled (is there any other kind?) afternoons spent with grandparents and uncles who passed away too soon and those memories where dad and mom are young, strong and there to help me with everything. Life seems like a sad long joke where everything happy is offered to experience and then taken away.

    1. Hmm, yeah. But you still have 9 months for the 30 to happen 🙂
25 to 30 has been the fastest…but the thing that worries me is how many memories I am losing as time passes by…
it’s weird…but I guess this is how its meant to be…

      1. Most memories are fading, but some are getting stronger, starting to replay all the time. The memories have already convinced me on certain conundrums I used to have before (stay or return to India, to marry or not, to have kids or not, to play a role in helping India or not and many more).

      2. ah the flashes 🙂
Happens to me too all the time…I like to believe that’s usually some association to something u are doing at that moment like a song or some smell picked up…never tried thinking more about it…more pleasant this way without knowing the reason…
Also, curious…what did you decide on the above things…I guess it just shooting for too much to expect u to reveal ur life’s plans on my blog in a comment..but worth a shot 😀

      3. That should be easy to guess. I gave absolute priority to my independence, lifestyle, comfort and career before (say right upto 2006). Over 4 years it has slowly transformed and I now give the highest priority to love, family, friends and people. Life now seems meaningless if these did not have the highest priority.
For more practical examples, you can always ask me in private communication 😉
